    This was originally (pre-independence in October 1964) called Llewellyn High School. I attended it from 1964 - 1966, after completing my primary schooling at nearby Kansenji (now Kansenshi)Primary School. Headmaster at Kansenji Primary School was Mr Thom, and at High school the Headmasters were first Mr Crawford, then Mr. Rowe.

    my old mosque, and we used to have fun here. me and my best mate.. we used to love picking mangoes from the mango tree at the back.. and we used to play sports here too(volleyball)

    Gwen Rayner was founder and first headteacher of this school. The first (tempoary) campus was the Ndola showgrounds where some of the show pavilions were used as classrooms
